Rossmann opens its „store of the future”

Manufaktura mall in Lodz, Poland, became the first location for Rossmann’s new concept store. “Here, design is totally soaked up with the latest technologies”, emphasizes Rossmann’s spokesperson. In this store, for example, one will find a separated Refill Zone for customers to fill bottles they bring from home with new dozes of their favorite shampoo.

Besides, the store in Manufaktura Mall is the largest Rossmann spot in the entire country, counting 1100 sq.m. The store got re-imaged from the ground to obtain a totally new concept of design and customer service, inspired by modern ECO trends, and decorated with wooden shelves and equipped with numerous other environmentally friendly solutions.

 The store offers over 25 thousand products divided into 4 main areas: Beauty Workhouse, Beauty Domain, Healthcare and Grab&Go Zone.

The Beauty Workhouse contains a special section for a refill station, that automatically dispenses new doses of shampoo, shower gel, detergent and dish washing liquids into the bottles customers bring with them. The refill products are provided by a local Polish brand OnlyBio. This concept has been previously tested in other stores in Prague, Brno and Liberec in Czech Republic, and now received an adoption in Poland. The Beauty Workhouse zone is also hosting another private brand Manufaktura Piękna, which is boasting its over 250 mostly natural or vegan beauty products.

The Beauty Domain offers a vast range of perfumery. The district is additionally equipped with a Selfie Wall for TikTok and Instagram addicts.

Health Zone is made for healthy nutrition fans, offering a ton snacks, vegan, eco and gluten-free edibles, as well as foodstuff by offered by local brands.

Grab&Go Zone is the one for quick shopping, offering most of basic and daily use products like soap, toilet paper, animal or infant’s food.

Other stores will later inherit the best performing solutions

“- We always do the trials in Lodz in the first place, cause our brand originates from this town, and the store in Manufaktura Mall is the largest one in the country. We are still testing new solutions in order to later apply those best approved by customers in other stores located in shopping malls.” – says the spokesperson.
